As a child I was raised on the books by James Herriot and loved the stories about not only his patients but his clients. At the time, I didn’t realize what a profound impact that would make on me until I was practicing medicine where healing the pet isn’t the whole picture. I understand that part of our job by healing the pet is helping the owner as well. I strived to create a practice that has not only quality medicine for our patients, but a comfortable personal environment for our clients.
Our staff has a special love for breeders and helping produce the next generation of healthy pets. I’ve been breeding dogs for over 25 years and enjoy mentoring breeders into producing the best pups they can. Our staff understands the concerns and needs of breeders and we work together to strive to get the best results possible.
That emotional investment doesn’t end with breeders, but carries on to all our clients and their pets. From the time they come in with their pet or a new puppy or kitten we all strive to make sure they get high quality lifelong care.
